Chase leads a blindfolded Brook Lynn to the Quartermaine boathouse, where he has set up a romantic Valentine’s Day picnic for them. He heard her talking to Leo about a comet passing by tonight, and he thought they could stargaze for their first Valentine’s Day together. Unfortunately, both heat lamps are out, but Brook Lynn says they have a blanket and body heat.

Chase gets them champagne and they snuggle under the blanket. The night goes on, and it gets colder, and the comet hasn’t made an appearance. Chase is sorry and just wanted to make this day special. She says honestly, she doesn’t care about Valentine’s Day as it’s just a commercial moneymaker. Chase laughs as he feels the same way.
Chase says he does care about her, and she’s such a romantic that he wanted to make this night special. Brook Lynn says he shows her every day how much he cares about her, so they don’t need to make today more special just because of what day it is. Chase suggests they go home.
Suddenly the comet goes by, and they see it. Chase suggests there may be magic in Valentine’s Day after all.
Brook Lynn and Chase head home and make love.

Michael and Willow celebrate at home with wine. Willow says before they tell the kids he’s back that there is something she needs to get off his chest. She admits she overreacted to his keeping the Nina thing from her and it was hypocritical as she kept the truth about her cancer from him for months.
Willow admits she has a history of being lied to and manipulated, and his not being honest shook her. She needs to know going forward if something terrible happens they figure it out together. Michael promises her that, and he’s sorry he made her feel they weren’t a team.
Willow notes they both hid something due to the love they have for one another. Willow knows their life won’t be perfect, but this marriage and family mean everything to her. She wants them to get back to where they were. She extends her hand and asks if he’s ready for bed.
Michael and Willow head upstairs and make love.

At The Savoy, Lucy, Sasha and Maxie are out together. Sasha and Maxie are trying to cheer Lucy up, as Martin still isn’t returning her calls.
Cody brings Spinelli out to The Savoy, and Spinelli says maybe he’ll find the woman of his dreams tonight. They look over and see the women together, and Maxie smiles and waves at Spinelli. Spinelli accuses Cody of setting this up, but Cody claims he had no idea they’d be out.
Cody and Spinelli walk over to say hello to the women, and when Maxie invites them to join, Lucy says this is a ladies’ night so no boys allowed. Cody and Spinelli head to the bar, and Lucy brings up Spinelli living with Maxie. Maxie insists it is temporary, but Sasha says it seems like she enjoys having him there. Lucy changes the subject to work and new campaign ideas, and Maxie says, “So much for ladies’ night.”
Lucy steps away to leave Martin another voice mail, and when she sees a happy couple, she takes off in tears.
Meanwhile, Sasha asks Maxie what it was like with Spinelli before. Maxie says it was great, it just didn’t work out. Sasha wonders if she’s thought about trying again. Maxie looks over at Spinelli and admits, “Once or twice.”
Maxie says it’s complicated, but Spinelli is a gem, and any woman would be lucky to be with him. Sasha asks why it can’t be her. Maxie is unsure she can love anyone like she loved Nathan, and she has to feel that way about Brando. Sasha admits she did think that way, but now she realizes she will love someone again, just in a different way than she loved Brando.
At the bar, Spinelli thinks the idea to find him a lady tonight should be shelved. Cody wonders if he’s worried about Maxie seeing him talking to other women. Spinelli insists he isn’t. He takes a call from the sitter that James keeps sneaking out of bed. Cody says since Lucy the ladies’ night police took off, maybe he should go bring Maxie up to speed on her son.
Sasha joins Cody at the bar, and says Maxie is sharing with Spinelli that James has a crush on the babysitter, which is why he keeps getting up. They talk about Maxie and Spinelli, and both admit Spinelli and Maxie like each other but don’t want the other to know. They look over and see them together. Sasha says they are a good match but knows it’s hard when you tried before and couldn’t make it work. Cody says maybe it wasn’t the right time, and it’s hard when you know you could miss out on something great. He quickly says regarding Maxie and Spinelli that is, and Sasha says, “Yeah.”
Meanwhile, Spinelli offers to get out of Maxie’s way in case Lucy returns, but Maxie insists she’s having way more fun with him.

At home, Dante surprises Sam with a Valentine’s gift, even though they said no gifts. He got her a new leather riding jacket, as she mentioned she wanted to get back into riding. They are interrupted when there is a knock at the door and it’s an officer with a delivery.
Danny is brought in, he’s drunk and snuck out earlier in the evening without them knowing. The officer explains he found him and some other boys drinking in the park, and he lets him off with a warning and leaves. Sam is furious and says if Dante wasn’t on the force he could have been charged.
Danny thinks it’s no big deal, but Sam says he is too young to be drinking period, let alone in the park this late as it’s dangerous. She says he’s grounded and demands his phone. Danny cries she’s being hypocritical because she likely drank when she was his age. She says she actually didn’t. Danny begins to not feel well and runs off to the bathroom.
Sam tells Dante she’s worried about Danny, aside from his drinking, he lied to her. She admits her response was to lie right back as she did drink at his age and did much worse things. Dante says every parent whitewashes their past, but Sam is concerned as Danny reminds her more and more of Jason every day. She says Jason was an adrenaline junkie who was drawn to danger, and in the end, it killed him. Dante assures her that won’t happen to Danny, and that he’ll be all right. Dante promises he’ll be here to help her through whatever comes their way.
Danny checks in with Sam later and says the room has stopped spinning and he’s feeling better. He heads back to bed. Later, Dante and Sam make their way to bed for some romance.

Curtis and Portia return home from one of his PT sessions. He says he’ll change and then they can head out. Portia finds roses on the table and two places set. Curtis admits he had nothing to do with this, and it turns out it’s a surprise from Marshall, who is out for the evening. He left a note saying dinner would be delivered at eight. Curtis is sorry they aren’t going out, but Portia likes the idea of a romantic dinner at home. He suggests they celebrate their anniversary properly.
They head to the bedroom and make love by candlelight. After, Curtis hopes that was worth the wait, and she says it was perfect. He knows now they can get through anything together seeing what they’ve survived this past year.
In the Pine Barrens, Sonny aims the gun at Dex and demands the name of who he sold him out to. Dex refuses to take anyone else down with him. Sonny tells him, “Wrong answer.” Suddenly there is a sound, a car door, and it’s Carly. Sonny asks what she’s doing here. She says she’s stopping him from killing an innocent man.
Sonny tells Carly he has proof that Dex is working for the bastard who is trying to take him down. Carly blurts out that Dex isn’t working for another organization, he’s working for her. Carly says she hired Dex to keep an eye on him for his own good, and for their children’s sakes. Sonny asks Frank and the others to give them privacy.
Carly explains Sonny was getting deep in with Pikeman and she paid Dex to watch out for him. Sonny notes she lost all her money when the merger fell through so she couldn’t have paid him, but she claims she found a way to get money. She tells him when the deposits were made and could only know that if she made them. Sonny realizes she’s covering for someone, and it’s Michael.
Carly admits Michael initially hired Dex. Sonny says, “To take me down?” Dex notes that is how it started, but things changed. Dex explains Michael couldn’t go through with it as it would hurt Donna and his other siblings. Carly says she made Dex stay because Sonny was in too deep with Pikeman and needed someone to help him. Sonny fumes, “You thought I couldn’t run my business? That I wasn’t strong enough to take care of myself?” Carly says he had no one to have his back, and she couldn’t trust Nina to take care of him. He says he never thought she would betray him like this. She claims she was trying to help him, and if he can’t see that then he’s further gone than she thought. He tells her she can’t justify this and storms off.
Carly checks on Dex. Dex knows Sonny would have killed him if she hadn’t shown up, and he can’t believe she did.
Sonny is in his car on the road and Frank asks if he wants to go home or to the office. He tells Frank to just keep driving. He thinks about his talk with Michael recently, and Michael promising they’ll never be estranged again.
On the next General Hospital: Kristina informs Blaze that Molly knows about them. Jordan says, “There goes our only lead.” Anna meets with Valentin who asks, “Is that why we struck up this conversation?” Nina asks Drew if he’s really that threatened by a little competition. Joss tells Dex that she can live with that if he can. Sonny yells at Michael, “You lost it the day you hired Dex to destroy me!”
