Slimming World Friendly Recipes With Fat-Free Yoghurt

Fat-free flavoured yoghurt is still low in syns and great to put in recipes if you want some low syn snacks on hand, we have listed two recipes below to give you inspiration for baking with your fat-free yoghurts.

White Chocolate Strawberry Yoghurt Bark

Using fat-free vanilla yoghurt and white chocolate options powder this low syn yoghurt bark makes a perfect sweet treat which only has a syn value of 4.5 syns per serving, with the whole recipe serving four people.

Ingredients

  • 650g of fat-free vanilla Activia yoghurt.
  • 20g of white chocolate Options hot chocolate powder.
  • 20g of white chocolate chips.
  • 250g of strawberries.
  • Two tablespoons of granule sweetener.

Method

  1. Place your vanilla yoghurt into a bowl and mix the hot chocolate powder in with a fork.
  2. Prepare a baking tray with some parchment and pour the yoghurt on top, allowing it to chill and become cool in the fridge.
  3. Place your strawberries and sweetener into a pan and allow them to cook into a syrup for about 15 minutes to 20.
  4. Once cooled take your yoghurt and pour the strawberries on top making different patterns and swirls.
  5. Melt your white chocolate in intervals in the microwave and pour on top.
  6. Put the tray in the freezer and break into barks.

Yoghurt Jelly

This yoghurt jelly is super easy to make if you are craving something sweet and serves 6 people at only 1/2 syn a portion.

Ingredients

  • 300g of frozen raspberries.
  • One 250g tub of quark.
  • 4 Greek strawberry yoghurts.
  • Hartley sugar-free jelly.

Method

  1. Take two packs of sugar-free jelly and prepare with a pint of boiling water.
  2. Mix the quark and yoghurt then place into the jelly and stir all the bubbles out.
  3. Add in the frozen fruit and allow it to set in the fridge for 30 minutes.
