Fri April 19, 2024: Today on Young and Restless, Victor and Jack join forces, Nikki goes rogue and Adam turns to Sharon for guidance.
Thursday’s recap: Tensions Rise as Billy Thinks Lily Looks Petty, Chelsea & Adam Spiral & Lily’s Tired of Playing Nice

As soon as Sharon arrives at Adam’s condo, he begins ranting about Connor. She tells him to slow down.
Adam feels helpless and says there’s an update with his son’s doctors and it’s not good.
He tells her about what he feels is the doctor’s “cookie-cutter” diagnosis. She can see it was a lot of information at once but Adam says that’s not the problem.
He calls it “just a bunch of jargon” that was supposed to impress him.
She doubts that. She talks up the team, thinking they probably know how wonderful the kid is. She says to trust himself more.
Adam continues to cut down the psychiatrists. He tells her that the “brilliant specialists” are calling him out for his son’s life being “one traumatic event after another.”
Sharon again asks him to slow down. She doesn’t think for one moment they’re laying the blame on him.
Adam says they made him feel that way. “Or are you making yourself feel that way?” Sharon asks. He fills her in on the conversation with Connor’s therapist.
Sharon knows Connor has a lot to deal with and she knows what it feels like to have your mistakes ricochet on to your children but she asks him not to take this all into himself.
It won’t help anyone. Adam agrees Connor doesn’t blame him but he feels all of their problems are his fault.
“Oh no,” Sharon exclaims.
She’s upset to learn he’s questioning being born.
Adam doesn’t know how to process this.
He shouldn’t be dealing with any of this. Why didn’t he see what Connor was going through?
He could have done something about it. Sharon asks what he could have done.
He’s not sure. Sharon thinks he’ll forgive himself when he accepts Connor has an illness and he’s human and fallible.
Parents always have moments where they feel a failure.
Sharon doesn’t believe anyone is responsible for the OCD, instead, he should give himself credit for doing right by his kid.
The facility is the right place for him.
Summer falls asleep in Harrison’s room at the Abbott mansion and dreams she can’t find Harrison.
She wakes up with a start, holding his stuffed fox.
She calls Chance and lets him know she needs his help.

Nikki arrives at the tack house and takes a sip of vodka before Victoria answers the door.
Since she’s alone, Nikkisuggests they go for a walk but Victoria doesn’t want to leave just in case.
She’s been rearranging cupboards to keep busy since she’s been ruminating over the last conversations she had with her daughter.
Nikki’s been doing the same thing.
Victoria says she doesn’t believe Claire would turn her back on her dream of family.
She was happy and looking forward to meeting her siblings.
Mother and daughter are concerned that Harrison and Claire are in equal trouble.
Nikki asks her to find a way to forgive her for calling 911 when Jordan took the poison.
Victoria calls that human decency. Nikki feels it’s up to her to end Jordan’s reign of terror.
Now!
Nikki believes she’s Jordan’s endgame and wants to offer herself up as bait. She’s going to do it on her own.
At the Newman ranch, Jack, Kyle and Victor discuss joining forces to bring Harrison home. Kyle thanks them for setting their differences aside. They both say, “Anything for Harrison.”
Kyle goes and the men talk about Nikki visiting Victoria.
Jack is glad they have a priceless bond. Victor thanks Jack for sponsoring Nikki.
It’s going well. He brings up Seth being offed by Jordan. Jack’s not sure if it was an accident or not.
They agree on one thing. They’ve lots of love for their families.
Michael arrives and tells the men that the offer to Jordan is still on the table but they’ve no plan. Victor says they’ll set her up.
They need to bring their grandson home and ensure Jordan doesn’t endanger anyone’s life.
Jack says they need to secure her properly — in jail this time, not a dungeon.
Victor yells at Jack, blaming his crack security for being the problem in the first place.
Michael comes between them, stopping them before things get too heated.
He takes a call from security and yells at them a bit about not being about to trace the phone calls.
Michael says she’s obviously turning it off when it’s not in use.
Jack is beside himself with worry but Victor assures him, “That bitch will pay.”
Kyle returns to the Abbott mansion and Summer rushes up to him.
She was worried. He explains where he was and fills her in on Victor’s offer to Jordan of millions of dollars, a new identity, passports, a safe passage to France and a deed to a house.
Kyle explains the offer was on the table before this went down and Jordan wants it back on the table.
Summer worries it’ll take too long to get all of this for Jordan.
She wants Claire’s phone number to offer herself in exchange for Harrison.
“I’ll be their hostage until all her demands are met.”
Kyle already tried that and the response was, “Not a chance.” Summer worries about the worst case scenario. What if it’s a trap?
Summer rants about Claire, thinking she’d try to get a signal to them if she really did care about Harrison.
Kyle doesn’t want to go there yet. They’ll talk about Claire when they get their son back.
He heads back to the ranch and she tells him she’s coming along.
They run into Chance on the way out. Summer tells Kyle she’ll meet him there and embraces Connor, crying over losing her son.
She talks about what happened and Chance knows Claire is friendly with Harrison which means the connection they share will keep him hanging in there until they get him back.
He hugs her and she tells him about her grandpa and Jack coming up with a plan to get him back.
She’s worried they’ll do something extreme.
Chance will call his buddies and check into what they can do.
She asks him to go to the ranch with her but he doesn’t think Victor will be interested in his input. Summer plans on insisting they listen.
He agrees to it and they go.
Kyle returns to the ranch. He says Jordan hasn’t been in contact and Michael lets him know they can’t trace the cell phone because she probably keeps turning it off.
Kyle lets the men know that Summer’s spiralling and it’s coming out as anger that’s mostly directed at him. He’ll take it though.
Victor calls him a good man. Jack sends the money to the offshore account for Jordan and Victor thinks it’s time to talk about how to lure her away.
Kyle’s on edge when Jack says Jordan likely has nothing to lose after she gets what she wants which can’t be good for Harrison.
Michael tells the room that they’ve people canvassing the area to learn if anyone saw Jordan with a child and Jack wonders if Claire is actually Jordan’s ally.
They don’t know her. Victor doubts it but Michael knows she must be working with someone.
Victor remembers the guy who sent Nikki a drink at Society.

At GCAC, Danny asks Traci if it’s okay if he asks her a question.
“Of course,” she says. “Go ahead.”
Danny says, “What is it you’re trying so hard not to talk about?”
Ashley’s new alter sits at the bar in Neil’s Lounge.
With a southern accent she drawls, “You can make a girl happy with a shot of tequila and don’t you forget that teeny-weeny slice of lime.”
At the ranch, Jack says he imagines Jordan’s going to reach out to Kyle sometime soon.
“How do we string her along if she starts making demands?”
Victor tells Jack, “She loves theatrics and this time I’m gonna pull down the damn curtain once and for all.”
Nikki waits in some alley. “Come on, Jordan. I’m right where you want me.” She’s startled by a noise and jumps.
