Tuesday, April 9, 2024: Today on Bold and the Beautiful, Deacon wonders if Sheila faked her demise again, Hope announces her plans for HFTF, and Steffy and Finn talk about not letting Sheila get between them.
Steffy was told she won’t face charges as Deacon demanded answers from Carl about the ten toes he saw.
At Il Giardino, Deacon can’t stop thinking about spotting ten toes on Sheila’s body as it went into the fire in the crematorium.
“It can’t be,” he grumbles.
Hollis wanders over to check on him.
The boss admits he’s not okay at all.
Hollis says it’s hard to believe Sheila is really gone.
“You’re telling me,” says Deacon, who flashes back to the most recent time that she faked her demise by cutting off her toe.
He wonders if he’s seeing things.
If he really saw ten toes, the body was not Sheila.
At the cliff house, Steffy asks Finn if he got some closure at the memorial.
He did and thanks her for being so understanding.
She hopes that’s the end of it and asks if Hope was there too.
He tells her how hard this has been on Deacon.
Steffy doesn’t have a lot of sympathy for him.
Her husband thanks her again for giving him the space to deal with what he lost.
She assures him that Sheila won’t come between them now that she’s gone.
He thanks her again for all her patience and she says she won’t let anyone come between them.
The doctor wishes they didn’t have to face these challenges over and over but they can finally put Sheila behind them.
Deacon calls to say he urgently needs to see him.
It’s about Sheila.
He begs him to come to the restaurant.
Finn tells his wife Deacon seems upset.
He will deal with this as fast as he can and it may be the last time they ever have to talk about Sheila.
He leaves and she sighs, thinking about Sheila and shuddering.

Back at Il Giardino, Deacon repeats, “It can’t be” and takes a drink.
Finn arrives and Deacon warns that this is crazy.
The doctor sees how wound up he is and tells him it’s been an emotional time.
The doctor needs to put this behind him.
Every time Sheila’s name comes up, that takes a toll on his wife.
Deacon wants him to be able to move past this.
Finn knows he cared about Sheila but he needs to move on too. It’s over.
“What if the person I saw being cremated wasn’t Sheila?” asks Deacon.
At Forrester Creations, Hope tells RJ, Luan, and Zende about how her father is grieving the loss of Sheila.
He really thought she’d changed.
“Too bad she didn’t. But at least we don’t have to worry about her being a threat anymore,” says Zende.
Hope explains that Thomas is gone.
She doesn’t know what that means personally or professionally but his absence is a loss.
They will have to step up, rally together, and work as a team.
Zende glances at Luna and she looks away.
He tells Hope that she’s the heart and soul on the line.
Luna is happy to pitch in.
Hope explains the line is directed at the youth and they are the youngest people at the company.
Everyone is super thrilled.
Hope tells Luna how impressed they are with her and how they want to give her more responsibility.
She sees her working “very closely” with Zende.
Luna looks uncomfortable.
Hope says Zende has been very important and he has seasoned talent to take over for Thomas.
He thanks her for the opportunity.
The boss says her life is up in the air right now but she’s sure the line is in good hands and they will make the most of this.
She’s sure they will bring out the best in each other and she wants Luna by Zende’s side so she can absorb what he knows and learn his secrets.
Luna flashes back to waking up in Zende’s bed after her mint-fuelled night.
She blinks. Zende squints.
When Hope and RJ are left alone, she says she hopes she didn’t catch him too off-guard with her choice but she thinks it would be beneficial for Luna to spend time with Zende.
RJ nods.
In the design office, Zende asks Luna if he’s okay.
He had no idea this was coming.
She says it’s fine but it’s complicated because of the night they shared.
He doesn’t think that needs to affect their work.
The guilt of the secrecy is killing her.
Zende tells her none of this is her fault.
She says she didn’t know what she was doing that night but does now.
RJ needs to know the truth.
